DRUG DRIVING CONVICTIONS POTENTIALLY UNSAFE

A drug driving charge was dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service due to potential manipulation of the forensic data by Randox Testing Services.

Randox Testing Services have carried out nearly 500 drug tests for the police in the UK. There is currently an investigation into manipulation of the drug testing results by two employees who work at the Manchester office.

If the investigation finds Randox Testing Services employees have been manipulating forensic data, this could lead to some drug driving convictions being found to be unsafe, due to false forensic evidence and could allow for people convicted of this offence to appeal their conviction.

If you have been charged or convicted of driving while under the influence of drugs, we can help provide up to date legal advice, and provide assistance with appeals.
