James is the Principal Solicitor at the firm and is based in the Hale Office. He has been with JTS Solicitors since its incorporation.
James has undertaken a broad range of both commercial and criminal litigation work with a particular emphasis on complex and serious cases. He has attained a reputation for being extremely thorough with a very fine eye for detail. His calm and common sense approach to litigation generates trust from his clients, who fully appreciate the tenacious way in which he fights their corner and the commercial and tactical advice he offers in any given circumstances.
James is a qualified Court and Police Station Duty Solicitor as well as a High Court Advocate.
James’s caseload covers a wide variety of areas but has a particular emphasis on driving offences, education law and complex and serious crime. James also deals with residential conveyancing and wills and probate matters.
Some examples of James’s work:
Acts regularly for Defendants accused of driving offences ranging from allegations of failing to provide details of a driver and speeding to drink and drug influenced driving.
In Education law James also acts for parents who face allegations of failing to send their children to school. In these cases a large proportion of cases are withdrawn by the local authority because of legal arguments put forward.
James represents a large number of taxi drivers who face licensing committee and/or Court and revocation of their licence.
James also acts for clients facing criminal allegations ranging from shoplifting to large and complex fraud cases.
